Our commitment to serve your needs means that we will continue to invest in the best-in-class infrastructure. We are expanding our capacity to reach annual sales of 40,000 MT/year by adding new lines at Valsad & Palwal and planning a 3rd factory to cater to South India.
All BioComp® products comply with the European standard EN 13432 which is the current reference for biodegradable and compostable plastics coming from renewable and natural sources. To ensure compliance with European legislation, BioComp® is obtaining “OK Compost” certification by the Belgian AIB VINCOTTE. This brand, that is recognized both by the AFNOR and the NEC, ensures the verification of the absence of heavy metals and harmful substances (such as phthalates) in BioComp® bio-plastic formulations. Also biodegradability of at least 90% in a maximum of six months, the excellent disintegration of manufactured items and the eco-toxicity of the humus are ensured.
Therefore BioComp® could be considered an example for the obtained certifications and for the tests carried out with the most sophisticated analytical and scientific equipments.
