Ingevity’s Capa® thermoplastics are high molecular-weight polymers used in a wide range of adhesive, bioplastic and thermoplastic applications. The aliphatic polyesters are low melting-point thermoplastics that can be used in combination with a wide range of other polymers to give exceptional performance to end-use products. Our thermoplastics are used in hot-melt adhesive applications like footwear and packaging. They are also a complementary, performance-enhancing resin in bioplastic applications. Capa thermoplastics are versatile; compatible with a wide range of polymers; are process stable in a wide range of conditions; and are fully compostable.
